Jerry Abrams
Jerry Abrams was born in Boston on Valentine’s Day 1935. Following High School, he served with the United States Coast Guard for four years. After his service, he made his mark in the fishery business, where he owned and operated two wholesale fish companies in Boston. Jerry has served on the board of the National Fisheries Institute and founded the East Coast Tuna Association. He lobbied for many years, on behalf of the seafood industry in Washington. He also served for many years on the US Delegation of ICCAT Treaty Organization, based in Madrid, which manages highly migratory large pelagic species of fish. He remained active in politics in the State of Massachusetts before retiring to Florida.
